To set regional defaults

Click the Defaults Manager icon.
The Defaults Manager dialog box opens.
Click the Application button.
In the Regional panel , set the default Continent and Country. All your projects will be located in the selected country.
If your project buildings are located in the same site within the default country, you can set the Location and Weather profile.

Tip: Once these defaults are saved, the location’s weather profile (or weather profiles if more than one is associated to a location) are automatically loaded into the project folders for all subsequently created projects.
Set the default Calculation standard to ASHRAE.
The ASHRAE standard will be used for all future loads calculations and energy simulations.
Set the default Units to IP-Imperial.
Imperial units will be displayed in all the data managers, and all calculation and simulation results reports.
Click OK to complete the defaults setup.
